WANTED!
THE MURDERER(S) OF

Robert Steven Buckner
Albuquerque, NM
Case# 89-082472

On August 21, 1989, at approximately 0330 hours (3:30 a.m.), the gate alarm was activated at the Robert Buckner's home located at 1507 Van Cleave NW.  Robert Buckner went outside with a gun to check for any intruders that might be on the property.  During this time, Robert Buckner apparently confronted the intruder and was shot with his (Buckner's) gun once in the back of the head.  Robert Buckner's body was discovered later that morning by his wife, Robbie Buckner.  Detectives were later contacted by Tina Harbold, who told detectives that her husband, Charles Mayberry, had committed the murder.   Harbold went on to state that Mayberry had committed the murder while attempting to commit a residential burglary and had taken $500.00 from the victim.  Charles Mayberry has not been arrested at this time, due to lack of physical evidence.
