On August 15, 1982, officers were dispatched to 218 Dallas NE, Apartment #C, reference DOA.  When they arrived, the rescue squad was leaving and advised them that the female inside of apartment was deceased and that it appeared to be natural.  The victim was on her back on the floor, with a towel around her mouth which appeared to be a gag.  The room had been ransacked, with papers and prescription bottles thrown throughout.  The sliding glass door had been pried open and was noticed by neighbors.
