I know that you should love each child in a fair and equal way,

But sometimes a child comes along and steals your heart away.

It isn't that you love him more, or that he's #1...

It's just that there's a special place in your heart that he has won.

You think that he's an angel and no wrong can he do,

And then someone comes along and takes him away from you.

Your life becomes filled with turmoil, and it surely seems as tho...

This one was the only child that you had ever known.
