On Saturday, December 12, 1987, at approximately 0530 hours (5:30 a.m.), Clifford W. Jones was walking to work from 143 General Arnold NE, to the Nob Hill Barber Shop, 100 Carlisle SE (at Central Avenue).   While in the area of San Pablo NE and Central Avenue, Mr. Jones was attacked by unknown person(s) and stabbed in the back with a knife and robbed.  Mr. Jones was transported to the University of New Mexico Hospital (UNMH), where he died as a result of the stabbing.
