On March 4, 1986, an anonymous phone call informed APD that the decedent, Shirley Kowalski, was located at 6101 Central NE, room 139.  The victim had six apparent stab wounds.  There was blood stains noted on the carpet, on the door, soles of her feet and various objects inside the room.   A blood stained knife was also found at the scene.
